Last week , I went hiking in the canyons and got rewarded with a major allergy attack of sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes. I knew I had allergies, but I’ve never had it this bad. This year though, CA has been finally getting a lot of rain, so with it, flowers and pollen.  I can’t help but to be outdoors though: the rain has changed what is normally brown to be green, and I want to enjoy being outdoors before it turns brown again!

Believe it or not, this is actually in the city of Irvine.  You can actually see the 405 freeway run alongside these grassy hills as a reminder that you aren’t in the countryside.

But if you look away, for just a moment, you do get tricked into the illusion that you aren’t in the city, and its the perfect escape away from home, at home.
