I’m more of a nature/landscape photographer, but wanted to give urban photography a try, so  I brought my camera with me for a Downtown LA walk on 4th of July weekend.  Downtown LA really lights up at night, and it’s surprisingly quiet and peaceful. As you can see, there is barely a person in sight.  There are some pockets that do have people, but for the most part, since Downtown is mostly commercial businesses, everything closes early. It works for me: better for my photography!
