Taking picture with my cell phone at the beach was how I first started to get into photography. Lately, though, I haven’t been quite as inspired by beach shoots. Mind you: I still enjoy going to the beach: I just don’t enjoy photography at the beach as much as I did in the past. I was actually “forced” to shoot at the beach during the photography meet last weekend, and honestly, almost all of my pictures were non landscapes. At the very last minute, however, I did decide to take a photo. After all, it feels a bit of a waste for me to be standing coast-side, during sunset, camera in hand, to not take a picture.
Here’s a classic pier shot with my Sony: Long exposure of 3.2 seconds with a ND 8 filter.
